Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare the imaging student with basic information regarding patient care for a person undergoing a radiologic procedure. It is a combination of lecture, demonstration and practice in a laboratory setting. Students will learn skills related to sterile technique, infection control, isolation procedures, vital signs and transfer techniques for a patient undergoing imaging procedures.
