Art of Photography

Catalog description

This course provides the student with an introduction to the software and business applications as used by today’s digital artists. It will cover Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel Painter as the main creative tools. This course consists of lectures, demonstrations, hands on drawing/painting with Wacom tablets on computers, and active student participation in discussions and critiques. Prior to each discussion is a reading assignment, creative activity or research activity.
