Catalog description

The EMT Certificate program is the National Education Standards training for one to gain national and Ohio certification as an EMT. Once students successfully complete the EMT course, they are eligible to sit for State/National EMT Certification written and practical examinations. The EMT Certificate is accredited by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of EMS (Certificate # 311). Course includes a minimum of 40 clock hours of hospital and field (directed practice) clinical experience.
