Catalog description
CSCI 2781 introduces concepts of government in the American federal system, including branches of government, jurisdiction, and the interplay of federal and state law. Students will complete and analyze readings to gain an understanding of consequences relating to cybersecurity and its jurisprudence under the U.S. Constitution, federal, and state law. Students will engage in critical thinking and ethical reasoning relating to concepts such as free speech, search and seizure, self-incrimination, criminal liability, and individual rights relating to use of technology.
