Catalog description

This course is restricted to students presently studying under the direction and oversight of an approved apprenticeship program, working in partnership with Columbus State Community College. This is the first module of the Electrical Trades Center hands-on cable splicing course. This module covers hand-taped splices and terminations. The course presents information on several types of cable splices. Most have high voltage applications; however, many of the splice technologies are used in all areas of electrical installation. Materials are presented from many different manufacturers of cable splicing materials.
