Advanced Grader I

Catalog description

This course is restricted to students presently studying under the direction and oversight of an approved apprenticeship program, working in partnership with Columbus State Community College. This course is designed to help students gain skills and experience in grader operation. The course involves both classroom and hands-on field training. The student will learn how to cut slopes, create parking lots, cut ditches, build haul roads, and conduct various exercises in fine grading using manual controls.
