Fire Alarm Systems

Catalog description

This course is restricted to students presently studying under the direction and oversight of an approved apprenticeship program, working in partnership with Columbus State Community College. Basic and advanced fire and smoke alarm systems are discussed in large commercial and industrial settings. Advanced code calculations for initiating devices and for notification appliances are discussed. Student will be able to install, start checkout procedure, and maintain and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
