Catalog description

This course is restricted to students presently studying under the direction and oversight of an approved apprenticeship program, working in partnership with Columbus State Community College. This course will introduce learners to the processes, principles, and practices of operating a plumbing business. Students will put into practice skills for leading a crew. This course will continue to expand upon plumbing practices and differences between private and public plumbing systems, materials, and equipment. The course will continue expanding upon repair practices used for servicing piping sytems, fixtures, and common appliances. The three phases of a plumbing project will frame the majority of this course.
