Catalog description

This course is restricted to students presently studying under the direction and oversight of an approved apprenticeship program, working in partnership with Columbus State Community College. Contents of this course cover the principles of coalescence of fusion during Shielded Metal Arc Welding processes. This course delves into the different types of electrodes, proper manipulation of electrodes, amperage setting, and electrical circuitry configurations, joint designs, joint symbols and joint structural characteristics are covered extensively during this course.
