Plumbing Practices I

Catalog description

This course is restricted to students presently studying under the direction and oversight of an approved apprenticeship program, working in partnership with Columbus State Community College. The first in a series of courses will introduce learners to the plumbing profession's practices. Students will learn the hands-on skills needed for working as a plumbing professional. Students will learn various plumbing terminologies and different methods employed between these plumbing systems. Students will practice methodologies for protecting plubic health and safety, while providing comfort. Practicing the three phases of plumbing projects and implementing their procedures will give form and function to this course.
