Catalog description

This course provides experiences to foster the development of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills necessary for the nursing care of patients with routine needs in medical and surgical settings. The focus is on the nursing care of patients experiencing common body system alterations. Clinical experiences include inpatient medical/surgical units and high-fidelity simulation.
