Teacher Leadership Internship Capstone

Catalog description

The Teacher Leadership Internship provides candidates with field-based opportunities to apply their leadership skills. In collaboration with their Candidate Support Team, composed of the candidate, their university supervisor, and their school-based mentor, candidates will design and implement tasks that demonstrate their mastery of the Georgia Teacher Leadership Standards. These tasks may include designing and implementing professional learning, collaborating with stakeholders, mentoring and coaching colleagues, facilitating data-informed decision making, conducting and applying research toward improved teaching and learning, and advocating for the differentiated needs of self and others.
