The course examines methodology, philosophy, and objectives of grades 4-12 social studies from theory to practice. This includes in depth study of methods, techniques, strategies, management and assessment. Emphasis is placed on disposition, interdisciplinary approaches, state standards, active learning, critical thinking, diversity and technology.
