This course explores the core elements of effective professional development, with an emphasis on how teachers learn in different settings, such as workshops, coaching sessions, and learning communities. Participants will examine what makes professional development impactful and how these strategies are applied at the district, state, and national levels. The course also covers widely used instructional frameworks like the Danielson Framework and Marzano Model, demonstrating how they are implemented in schools. Educators will gain practical tools for using performance assessments to improve student outcomes in their classrooms.
