Not appropriate for students who have already taken either EEEB G4147 or EEEB G4148 . An exploration of the hidden clues preserved in the human skeleton. Bones record growth, aging, disease, and activity, offering a unique window into the human experience. In this hands-on laboratory course, we will explore the fundamentals of human osteology including ethics, the identification of bones and major landmarks, methods for assessing age and biological sex, and the ways disease, trauma, and culture may leave lasting signatures on the skeleton.
