Instructor: TBD Prerequisites: None Texts: Approaching China (Columbia University staff, published by Peking University Press) Introduces basic sentence structures and vocabulary in colloquial Chinese and focuses on developing basic skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The Pinyin system and traditional characters are used. To enroll in this course, you must apply to the Virtual Columbia Summer Chinese Language program through the Center for Undergraduate Global Engagement (UGE). Global Learning Scholarships available. Tuition charges apply. Please note the program dates are different from the Summer Term A & B dates
