First-year Spanish II

Catalog description

Builds on the foundational skills of Spanish 101Z including the language, cultural practices, and perspectives of Spanish-speaking communities both locally and globally. Continues to cultivate listening, speaking, reading, writing, and intercultural competence through conversation, cultural exploration, and other activities. Designed for those who have completed a term of college-level Spanish (or equivalent) as the second of three in the sequence of First-year Spanish courses (SPA 101Z, 102Z, and 103Z). Prerequisites: Completion of SPA 101 or instructor permission; placement into MTH 65 or MTH 98. Prerequisite/concurrent: WR 121 or WR 121Z. Audit available.
