Catalog description
Explores mathematics used in the study of technical and industrial systems including basic algebra, engineering notation, unit conversion and dimensional analysis, function notation, exponential and logarithmic functions, sinusoidal functions, and complex numbers in polar, rectangular, and phasor forms. Scientific calculator required. Recommended: concurrent enrollment in EET 111. Prerequisite: MTH 65 or equivalent placement. Audit available.
