Catalog description

Builds on the skills learned in MFG 285 by introducing welding to AWS code for stainless steel alloys. Introduces fabrication of stainless steel assemblies and the different procedural and prep changes for different stainless steel alloys. Presents AWS tolerances in color and purity in stainless steel welding, and experiments with a range of outcomes and how they differ both practically and chemically. Prerequisite: MFG 285.
