Elementary Educator Practicum

Catalog description

Provides opportunities to observe and work with school teachers in K-5 classrooms to gain first-hand experience in the culture of schools and strategies for teaching and learning. Applies previous learning to a classroom setting. Explores required professional dispositions, skills and knowledge to become a teacher. Recommended: ED 101. Prerequisites: ED 216 and 219, HEC 226. Corequisite: ED 294.
