Practicum 1

Catalog description

Develops basic intermediate level skills to work with children birth through eight years in a group setting. Includes the use of developmentally appropriate methods to support guidance and conflict resolution, schedule and routine planning, fundamental curriculum development, and environmental modification. Develops skills in working with children in a group setting using developmentally appropriate methods. Prerequisites: CG 101, HE 113, HEC 201, ECE 101, ECE 120, ECE 121, ECE 122, ECE 124, ECE 126, ECE 130A, ECE 200; Prerequisite/ concurrent: ECE 221; Corequisite: ECE 130B.
