Musical Theatre Workshop II is a multi-disciplinary course in acting and singing for musical theatre. The course builds on skills from Workshop I. This course integrates acting, singing, and physicality; focusing on staging, movement, and vocal technique to create authentic musical theatre performances. Students will analyze lyrics to develop emotional, intellectual, and physical through-lines for character work. Through three performance projects-a solo, small group, and ensemble piece-students will refine their craft and engage in style and dramaturgical research. This course prepares students for professional musical theatre work, enhancing versatility, confidence, and employability.
