This workshop is designed for students intending to regularly audition for musical theatre, with a primary focus on the singing component of auditions. Participants learn how to create a well-rounded audition book, select and prepare appropriate song cuts, communicate effectively with accompanists, and tailor performances to specific shows and roles. Weekly mock auditions provide opportunities for practice, observation, and peer feedback, with an emphasis on fostering confidence and professionalism in the audition setting. This elective workshop is open to all majors in the college.
