Whether we're talking about the American Revolution or the Mexican Revolution, the Arab Spring or AIDS art activism of the 1980s, the Anti-Apartheid movement or Black Lives Matter, we'll explore the causes, strategies, and impacts of revolutions and social movements. We'll study how people organize, challenge power, and shape history. You'll engage with key historical moments, analyze primary documents, and apply critical theories to understand what drives collective action-and what makes it effective.
