Catalog description

This novice leveled ASL course includes further training in receptive and expressive skills through discussions of such topics that revolve around sharing information about our surroundings and us. Activities include short presentations, storytelling, and lab exercises that provide extensive hands-on practice using different methods of delivery. Students will also be exposed to Deaf culture, and diverse Deaf signers modeling appropriate language and culture behaviors in various situations.
