Catalog description
This novice level ASL course concentrates on the development of conversational fluency in ASL. Students will develop expressive and receptive skills through discussion of such topics revolve around sharing information about us and everyday life. Activities include short presentations, storytelling, and conversational exercises that provide extensive hands-on practice using different methods of delivery. Students will also be exposed to diverse Deaf signers modeling appropriate language and culture behaviors in various situations.
