What makes us who we are - and how does the human body build and sustain itself? This course explores the biological foundations of the human body, from its structure and function to the genetic instructions that guide our growth, function, and reproduction. Students will investigate how genetic and physiological processes interact in growth and development and evaluate the ethical and social implications of how modern advances are reshaping our understanding of human health and reproduction. This course offers multiple topics sections, offering students an accessible and integrated look at what it means to be human from a biological perspective.
