This one-credit, five-week intensive class provides a survey of the various ways music and visual media interact. This overview includes exploring the many different relationships music and visual media have in today's practices, the various functions music fulfills in different genres and types of media, the effect current production and consumption technologies have on media music, and an introduction to legal, business and copyright concerns.
