Composition I

Catalog description

This is the first course of a three-semester scoring sequence within the Music Composition for Media BA program. Students work on film, television and interactive media projects, under the guidance of the original composer where possible. Projects span a wide variety of styles, genres, and types of media, following a real-world trajectory from creating the first demo to the final delivery. In this course students go through a series of targeted exercises and then work on specific cues.
