Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of music technology. Students will learn the basics of digital audio workstations (DAWs), MIDI controllers, as well as techniques for recording and manipulating audio. The course prepares students for more advanced concepts in digital music production and establishes a foundational fluency in the related hardware and software that they will use in other courses throughout the music program.
