Catalog description
Basic Math Skills is designed to support you as you refresh and strengthen fundamental mathematics skills. We concentrate on operations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages, including ratio and proportion. We also discuss measurement, geometry, and the principles of algebra. You will have opportunities to participate in collaborative learning and other activities to help develop your problem solving and critical thinking skills. (Note that Basic Math Skills does not satisfy the college's quantitative reasoning requirement.)
