Catalog description
In this project-based course, students work in collaborative teams to practice and apply design thinking and UX methodologies to engage in each phase of the design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing, on projects that aim to solve real-world problems and improve society and well-being. Students will learn about the roles on a design team, how to effectively manage time and scope, set deadlines, and, as a team, have practical experience applying UX methods with a deeper understanding of the iterative design process to approach complex, user-centered problems.
