Catalog description
In this course, we'll explore features of Black World art and culture in Africa, Europe and the Americas. We identify the histories, themes, and aesthetics that intersect them. Together, we'll engage with music, literature, visual art, museums, and cultural institutions to highlight Black artistry in many forms. Our conversations will consider past, present, and future ideas of Black world art and culture imagined through community and creativity.
