Catalog description
This interdisciplinary course examines the intersections of?gender, culture and the arts in?Latin?America and the?Latine communities in the United States. We will tackle issues of representation and identity, race and ethnicity, feminism and?gender, and revolution and resistance in the historical and cultural context of these communities. Together we will explore the multicultural and multilingual artistic contributions of?Latine and?Latin?American artists, past and present.
