Catalog description

We'll explore trends and craft issues in creative writing by focusing on specific genres, topics, and forms. Subject matter may range from traditional to experimental practices and can focus upon a particular theme or purpose in creative work. Common topics may include genre workshops in horror fiction, science fiction, or fantasy writing as well as explorations in translation, politics and social justice, documentary writing, letter writing, digital media, podcasting, performance, publishing, or hybridity, among others. We'll compose work connected to the specific course focus. This course is repeatable as the topic changes.
