Catalog description

This course blends theory and practice in data communication strategies, utilizing various digital graphic storytelling forms across multiple media platforms. We will focus on visual and media literacy, research, narrative storytelling, and media design. You will translate reliable data into compelling visual stories by designing infographics, explanatory charts, maps, timelines, and/or diagrams and explore alternative storytelling formats that integrate video, photos, illustrations, and animations.
