Catalog description

This course introduces interviewing as a multimedia practice applicable across the media and arts. Students learn strategies for identifying and approaching a range of subjects, conducting background research, building connections and shaping interviews into compelling stories. Emphasis is placed on adapting interviewing techniques and material to a variety of platforms and creative practices, with attention to equity in representation.
