Catalog description

The Bridge Program will provide students with advanced and early access to the Columbia community, culture, and campus. Students will be exposed to campus resources including but not limited to: Student Success Support, Academic Life Coaching, Academic Advising, Student Life and Engagement, and the Career Center. In addition to campus support resources, Bridge students will be exposed to our different academic disciplines in the arts and creative fields. Presentations, workshops, and class exercises will help students to better solidify their understanding of options at Columbia and career potential after graduation. Students in the Bridge Program will enhance their communication and collaboration skills through classroom activities, at-home reflection activities, and collaborative assignments. The Bridge Program culminates in an opportunity for students to share a creative project during the final Bridge Showcase.
