Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the core elements of screenwriting for film and television: dialogue, scenes, dramatic structure, character, and visualization. Students learn screenplay formatting and conventions through short writing exercises, scenes, and sequences. Emphasis on storytelling and character concepts applicable across script forms.
