Artificial intelligence is reshaping every sector, from art and media to business and finance, while raising important legal and ethical questions. As artists, designers and businesses increasingly use AI, questions of authorship, ownership, governance and accountability continue to arise. This course explores the rapidly evolving legal and policy changes raised by AI by introducing students to the legal systems, policy debates, and governance models that address AI's business and social impact. Through case studies and current events, students will develop critical understanding of how the law both constrains and enables creative innovation.
