Catalog description
Developing effective grant writing skills is essential for non-profit organizations to acquire competitive funding from government agencies and private foundations. Writing a successful grant proposal is a blend of art and business, which requires a basic understanding of the funding process, content knowledge, writing proficiency, and strong research skills. This course will provide students with the basic skills, principles and techniques of successful grant writing necessary to develop a competitive funding proposal.
