Catalog description
This community health nursing clinical course provides students with the knowledge and skills to excel in various community-based nursing practices. Focused on holistic care and health promotion, the course strongly emphasizes assessing and analyzing select communities to develop specific interventions and strategies for optimal health outcomes. With 90 clinical hours integrated into the curriculum, students can apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world community settings. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to contribute to enhancing community health, address health disparities, and promote wellness through community-oriented nursing practice. This course equips future nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in the communities they serve. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Bachelor Level Nursing program; NURS 302 . Corequisite(s): NURS 450 .
