Catalog description

This course examines culturally competent practice approaches for working with diverse individuals and families in human services settings. Students explore the intersection of culture, race, ethnicity, gender orientation, and family dynamics across the lifespan. Using tools such as the Culturagram and intersectional frameworks, students learn to assess and intervene effectively with families from various racial/ethnic backgrounds.
