Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive foundation in case management theory and practice for human services professionals. Students will explore evidence-based models, develop essential skills in assessment, service planning, coordination, and advocacy, while learning to work effectively with diverse populations. Content includes trauma-informed approaches, cultural competency, interdisciplinary collaboration, ethical decision-making, and psychotropic medication considerations. Through practical application and case studies, students will gain the competencies needed to navigate complex service systems and promote positive client outcomes in contemporary human services settings.
