Teaching Middle and Secondary Science

Catalog description

The study of methods, materials, practices and curriculum in middle school and secondary science classes. The course culminates with students demonstrating the abilities to plan, present and evaluate instructional experiences. Includes field experience of 15 hours. This course is part of a program that leads to Missouri certification. Students who do not live in Missouri will be required to sign an attestation that they will complete their field experiences and student teaching in Missouri and will work in Missouri upon graduation.
