Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and building blocks that underlie artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Students will explore how data, algorithms, and logic come together to create intelligent systems. Topics include key ideas from Python, statistics, probability, linear algebra, and calculus as they relate to AI; the structure of basic algorithms; and methods for representing knowledge, reasoning, and problem-solving. The course emphasizes conceptual understanding for more advanced AI topics.
