Catalog description

This course introduces students to the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in business. Students will learn key AI concepts, such as machine learning, deep learning, Large Language Models, and agentic AI, and examine how organizations use AI to improve decision-making, efficiency, and customer experience. The course also explores how AI interacts with other technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain. Emphasis is placed on understanding both the opportunities and limitations of AI, and on recognizing ethical challenges related to bias, privacy, compliance, and data security. By the end of the course, students will be able to explain how AI supports business strategy.
