Catalog description

This course is designed to build upon the previous pharmacology course. The basics of core drug knowledge, including pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacokinetics are presented. Emphasis is placed on learning additional drug classifications by categories affecting various body systems and disease states. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Associate or Bachelor Level Nursing program; NURS 212.
