Catalog description

Examines social policy development and implementation, with emphasis on comparing policy approaches across welfare, healthcare, family services, and other social issues. Students analyze how policies impact service delivery and develop advocacy strategies to influence policy change. Includes critical evaluation of current and proposed policies and their effects on diverse populations. Prerequisites: HUMS 200 and PSYC 210
