Examination of the basic mechanisms of evolution and the importance of evolution to our understanding of life on earth. Genetics, natural selection, adaptation and the history of life are considered. Cross-listed as ENVS 300/BIOL 300. Prerequisite(s): C or higher in BIOL 112 or in both SUST 110 and BIOL/ENVS 115.
